Elijah in a Chariot of Fire

2 Now it came to pass, when Adonai was about to take up Elijah by a whirlwind into heaven, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. ² Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here please, for Adonai has sent me on to Bethel.”

But Elisha said, “As Adonai lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
